Annual Health & Safety Forum

The Georgia Women’s Institute and The Georgia Commission on Women will host a Forum focused on Women’s Health and Safety at Clark-Atlanta University. The Forum will include panels of experts who will discuss pertinent health issues such as Heart Disease, Triple Negative Breast Cancer, Personal Safety, Diabetes, H1N1 and other chronic diseases. According to Nellie Duke, President of Georgia Women’s Institute and the Georgia Women’s Commission,  "considering the current climate regarding health care reform and health disparities, we will also include a panel on Health Care Advocacy in addition to the various dynamic workshops we’ve scheduled."
